Ironhold Tactics is the kind of strategy game you start on a coffee break and finish two hours later, wondering where the time went. You manage a small garrison, place units on a hex grid, and try to outthink waves of attackers who get smarter every round. There's a satisfying puzzle to every siege.

Between battles you upgrade walls, forge gear, and decide which soldiers to promote. Resources are tight, so every choice matters. The difficulty ramps fairly, though the last few chapters expect you to have mastered flanking and terrain bonuses.
